REMARKABLE BLOG TOUR - BEST OF GREETINGS

When you view this blog toug on July 21st, I'll be on my way home from Stampin' Ups! 25th Anniversary Convention.  I'm sure I'll have a lot to blog about when I get back home.  But in the meantime, enjoy this blog tour using the Best of Greetings which is a fun set that you can pair up with other stamp sets. I'm sure you arrived here from Melissa Bolinger's blog and I bet she had some great projects.  Here is the stamp set and you can still order it and any of the Best of 25 Years stamp sets.

I did 3 cards.  2 with just the greeting and one using a stamp set with it.

This first card is rather simple wedding card done in Blushing Bride, Basic Black and Very Vanilla.  I used the Hearts Collection Framelits and the Labels Collection Framlits.  Added some small pearls for bling.

This card uses Crumb Cake, Rich Razzleberry and Crushed Curry.  Again the Labels Collection Framelits.  A nice masculine card.  Stamp set is The Open Sea.

My last card was a swap card I made for Convention.  Card stock was Basic Gray, Daffodil Delight and Epic Day This & That DSP.  I used the Honeycomb embossing folder, Elegant Butterfly punch and the new Artisan Label punch.  Added a rhinestone for a little bling.

I hope you have enjoyed my samples.  Most of them are influenced by other great demonstrators.  Now hop over to Susan Carlson's blog to see what she has created using the Best of Greetings stamp set.  I'm sure you will be inspired!

REMARKABLE STAMP OF THE MONTH BLOG TOUR

Here we are back for another month featuring one of my favorite stamp sets - Chalk Talk.  I hope you enjoyed what Melissa Bolinger had and will enjoy what  I have created.  It's so much fun to get all this inspiration from the blog tour.

I created 3 samples.  I hope you enjoy.

This card seems washed out in the picture (sorry about that).  I used Midnight Muse, Soft Sky and scraps from Soho Subway.  I cut out the Soft Sky piece with Chalk Talk Framelits.  Then I ran it through the Chevron Embossing Folder.  Stamped the sentiment in white on Midnight Muse and added a little piece of Whisper White 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon.  Quick and easy card.  This card is being made at my upcoming Stamp a Stack class.
This card is very beautiful.  It uses Very Vanilla, Early Espresso, Crisp Cantaloupe and Soho Subway DSP..  I ran the Crisp Cantaloupe piece through the Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder.  Stamped in Early Espresso and Crisp Cantaloupe and cut and punched the two pieces out.  Finished it off with a piece of Crisp Cantaloupe 38" Ruffle Stretch Trim.  Love how I don't have to hand cut shapes anymore.  Use a framelit or a punch.  Quick and easy.
My last card today uses Basic Black, Strawberry Slush, Whisper White and a piece from the window sheet in Quatrefancy Specialty DSP.  I ran the Strawberry Slush piece through the Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder.  The window sheet is mounted on top of Basic Black cs.  I used Basic Black Ink and stamped it on Whisper White and Strawberry Slush.  I did have to cut out the "something" banner.  Finished it off with Whisper White 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon and 1/8" Basic Black Taffeta Ribbon.

I hope you have enjoyed my samples.  Now skip on over to Susan Carlson's blog to see what she has created.  I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
