BEST OF BRIDES AND BABIES REMARKABLE BLOG TOUR

When I saw this set I was not thrilled.
But we need to have stamp sets for all occasions, right?  I don't have a big family, so we don't have many weddings or babies.  But my customers do, so I should do some cards once in a while that may appeal to a broader customer base.  So I bought the set and now that I have used it, I'm glad I have it.

My first card used the Happy Anniversary stamp.  Cute stamp.  I didn't want to do a feminine card, but didn't want a masculine one either.  I think this one is pretty generic and would appeal to both a man and woman.
I used Midnight Muse, Pool Party and Very Vanilla cs.  Natural Composition Specialty DSP, Basic Black ink and markers.  Midnight Muse 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon.  I also used one of the Framelits from Chalk Talk.  Going to love that framelit set.

My next card used the bride and groom stamp.  I wanted something elegant and glitzy for this card.  I used Whisper White and Basic Black cs.  Silver Glimmer paper and Rhinestones.  I used the Paper Doily Sizlit and the Ovals Collection Framelits, corner rounder punch and a hint of Blushing Bride ink sponged around the stamped oval.  Also used the Blushing Bride and black markers to accent the flowers and grooms hair and bow tie.

My last card used the baby stamp.  Again I was going for generic (either boy or girl) with this card.  So I choose Very Vanilla, and Crisp Cantaloupe cs.  I used 2different pieces from the Soho Subway dsp.  One of the cute new In Clor boutique Details and very vanilla 1/2" seam binding ribbon.  I colored the stamped image with markers to pull out of the colors in the DSP.  I think this turned out cute and could go to either a baby boy or girl.

Next on the blog tour stop is Susan Carlson.  I'm sure she has some great projects to "case" and enjoy.  Each month we will be featuring one of the "Best of" stamp sets.  I hope you have enjoyed my samples.  Comments are always welcomed.

REMARKABLE STAMP OF THE MONTH BLOG TOUR

This month's stamp of the month is the new Mosaic Madness set.  There is a coordinating punch and embossing folder to go along with this stamp set.  Love Love Love it all.

This first card was a case from Stampin' Up!  Very simple you run a piece of white cs through the embossing folder (Modern Mosaic), then stamp and punch out some mosaic pieces, a sentiment and two strips of Quatrefancy Specialty DSP.  Colors are Pool Party, Daffodil Delight, and the new incolor Strawberry Slush.  Quick and easy card.  Give it a try.

Sample #2 again is a case from another great demonstrator.  I did not stamp a sentiment in the middle as I sometimes wait until I have the perfect person or event to send it.  That is what is missing from this card.  It uses Pumpkin Pie and Whisper White cs, Quatrefancy Specialty DSP and the new mosaic punch.  Ink colors are Island Indigo, Pool Party, Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie.
If you haven't seen the new catalog, you better get one soon.  It has so many great stamp sets, paper, ink and accessories.  I hope you like the blog tour.  Next you will go to Susan Carlson.  I'm sure she has some great samples to "case" and enjoy.  Thanks for stopping by.  Click on the box below or Susan's name to continue.
