HALLOWEEN CARDS

Halloween is one of my  favorite holidays to decorate and send out cards.  I don't get many trick or treaters, so I always do a little goodie bag with multiple pieces of candy.  Here are some cards we have created in classes over the last month or so.  I need to get them into the mail tomorrow, so enjoy!  I'm sure I cased these, so feel free to case them too.
Witches' Brew DSP, Halloween Bash stamp set, washi tape and various punches.

Witches' Brew DSP, Best of Halloween stamp set
Halloween Hello stamp set, Modern Medley DSP
Witches' Brew DSP, Halloween Bash stamp set and the Card Base Pop 'n Cut Die and Label Die.
Delightful Dozen stamp set

Hope you enjoy.  Now off to the mailbox!  Happy Halloween.

REMARKABLE BLOG TOUR - BEST OF AUTUMN

This month's "Best of 25" Blog Tour features Best of Autumn.  I'm really loving this stamp set.  So much variety.
My first card uses the "rock and roll" technique to get 2 colors on the leaves.  You first ink the stamp with Tangerine Tango and then roll the edges of the stamp in Chocolate Chip.  Then stamp your image.  Each leaf will be unique.  I used the Sweater Weather DSP, Tangerine Tango, Chocolate Chip and Crumb Cake cs.  The Happy Birthday is from Petite Pairs.

My next card uses the Circle Card Thinlits.  These Big Shot dies are one of the best things since sliced bread.  I remember trying to make similar cards by measuring and cutting and marking with a pencil and cutting.  So labor intensive and now SO SIMPLE and FUN.  Again I used Tangerine Tango and Chocolate Chip cs along with Sweater Weather DSP.  We used the Aqua Painters with Tangerine Tango, Crushed Curry and Chocolate Chip ink.to color the pumpkins.  The leaf again uses the "rock and roll" technique.  With this thinlit die you always cut the card first.  Then you can emboss like we did on the front flap with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder.  The Give Thanks was cut out using the banner die in the thinlit set.

My last card uses the Label Card Thinlits.  The cs is Real Red, Garden Green and Whisper White.  The DSP comes from the I Am Me DSP.  Here we put it on the front flap and then 3 chevrons from the Chevron Border Punch.  We used the Aqua Painters with Real Red and Garden Green ink and Black Stazon. The Birthday Greetings is from the Wetlands stamp set.

I hope you have enjoyed my stamp set samples.  All of them were inspired by other great demos.  I hope you will be inspired by my samples and change them up to your liking.  Now hop on over to Susan Carlson and see what she has created using this Best of Autumn stamp set.  See you next month!  Here is a list of the other demos that are included in this blog tour.

REMARKABLE STAMP OF THE MONTH BLOG TOUR

It was a beautiful fall day here in Michigan.  Actually seasonally warm for this time of year.  The colors are beautiful too.  So I should have choose Harvest of Thanks stamp set, but instead my stamp set is Christmas Collections and the Christmas Ornament Punch.  A day like today doesn't make you think of Christmas.

I have two samples to share with you today.  Both use the Christmas Collections stamp set.  So quick and easy to whip up these cards and make great Christmas cards.

Smokey Slate, Bermuda Bay and Whisper White cs.  Winter Frost DSP stack, Silver 1/8" Ribbon and Bermuda Bay ink.  Sentiment is from the More Merry Messages stamp set.

This card didn't photograph very well.  The ornament on the left is Silver Metallic encore stamp pad and the ornament on the right is Gold Metallic encore stamp pad.  Wisteria Wonder, Elegant Eggplant and Whisper White cs.  Elegant Eggplant ink and the Silver 1/8" Ribbon.  The Elegant Eggplant is embossed with the Stylish Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing folder.  The sentiment stamp set is from Single Stamps offering and is Magical Season.

I hope you have enjoyed my two samples.  Both were inspired by other great demonstrators.  Now hop on over to Susan Carlson's blog to see what she has created.

If you get lost here are the other participating demonstrators in this blog tour.
